Blood Orange Basil Mineral Mocktails

The most refreshing summer drink to help you cool off and stay hydrated on a cellular level.
The recipe is for one drink, but these can absolutely be prepared in a batch! Just multiply the amounts by the servings you want to make. If you're gonna get the blender out, you might as well make the most out of it!

Equipment

  • 1 Citrus Juicer Electric or hand operated works!
  • 1 Blender

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 C Blood Orange Juice (more to taste)
  • 1-2 leaves Basil, plus one for garnish
  • 1 C Coconut water

Instructions
 

  • Squeeze the juice of 1 blood orange to make about 1/4 a Cup of blood orange juice (more if you want to batch prep this!)
  • Blend 1-2 basil leaves with the blood orange juice. Potency can vary from plant to plant, so start small and you can always add more! If you don't want to get the blender out or if you're making just one, you can also muddle the basil into the bottom of your glass with a bit of the blood orange juice.
  • Strain the basil/blood orange juice mixture to remove any small pieces of basil (optional)
  • Pour 1 Cup of coconut water over ice, add the 1/4 Cup blood orange mixture (more to taste), stir, and enjoy!
