When it comes to summer in Texas I have two goals: stay cool and stay hydrated. Bonus points if I can do both with an insanely delicious treat. With hydration, the mistake I see most people make is to focus on water but forget about the minerals. And even though water is really important, its actually the minerals that helps water get inside our cells. This means that to stay hydrated on a cellular level, you gotta get your minerals too! WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
*I used this circular ice tray because it’s what I had, but any ice tray will do!
This drink is so quick to throw together. Just throw all of your ingredients into a blender and let it do the hard work. If you have a lower powered blender, or want to change up the consistency, just add in some extra coconut water!

BLACKBERRY LEMONADE MINERAL SLUSH
The perfect summer drink: a refreshing and hydrating frozen Lemonade
- 1 C Coconut water frozen into cubes
- 1/2 C Frozen blackerries
- 1/2 C Lemon juice freshly squeeze
- 1 Scoop Vanilla protein powder
- 1 splash coconut water if needed, for consistency
Add all of your ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
If needed, add a splash of fresh coconut water to help with blending or consistency (personally, I like mine as thick as possible!)
Garnish with a fresh lemon slice and mint, if desired and enjoy!
